Planepack: the book
In 2010, I flew with carry-on luggage for the first time. I did this because I was tired of airlines losing or mislaying my hold luggage. Travelling light was a revelation: I didn’t have to worry about my luggage getting lost. I always had my luggage with me, which meant I could make snap decisions and change my plans. I left that conveyer belt behind me and walked through customs feeling like a rock star: no more waiting around after a long haul flight. I wrote this book to help first-time light travellers learn how to prepare and pack with carry-on only.
